TIM McGOVERN
|
(Dick Christie) Timothy is very pleased to be back at Westfield Community Players, having played Elyot in Private Lives three years ago. He most recently filled a long desire by playing Charles in another Noël Coward play, Blithe Spirit in Cranford. Prior to that, he got to play five roles in A Christmas Carol in Berkeley Heights, but he typically acts in comedies here in WCP such as The Fox on the Fairway (Dickie Bell), Don’t Dress for Dinner (as Robert), Caught in the Net (John Smith), Run for Your Wife (Sgt. Porterhouse), Squabbles (Jerry Sloan) and It Runs in the Family (Dr. Bonney). A special memory was acting in The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, because that’s where he first met his wife, Diane. Timothy is dedicating this performance to her, and his sons Jack and Brian.

She works part time at Kean University as an Academic Specialist and is a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. Jeannie is psyched to be playing Linda Christie in Woody Allen’s Play It Again, Sam and is grateful to experience the talented direction of Linda Correll. This show marks her fourth appearance on WCP’s stage, having been seen previously as Gretchen in Boeing Boeing, April Green in Hot L Baltimore and Jinette in Almost Maine. Other shows include her roles as Heidi in Fuddy Meers and the Witch in Once Upon a Pandora’s Box at the Burgdorff with The Strollers in Maplewood; Rose in The Trangle Factory Fire Project with Fearless in Rahway; and Jane in Death at Sunset at the Darress in Boonton.
